Gretchen & Rob

December 20, 2008

Gretchen and Rob are getting married at the Founder's Inn. I'm so excited for them!

We had the privilege of getting to take their engagement pictures for them and they were so adorable .

I loved seeing Rob never take his eyes off Gretchen cause he said, "I just love to look at her cause she's just so pretty." I love it!

We all helped make thank you gifts for the guests...

Christopher helped make the table decorations. He's pretty handy at those things. What a trooper!

Everybody helping!!

And... the wedding planners!
All three of these women... Mrs. Olson, Mrs. Greer and my Mom all worked together to make this wedding possible.
They've all been friends for (I think) over 20 years.
And now they get to help plan their girls weddings!

My Birthday... 17! Woot!!!

I got to skip half a day of school to go shopping with my friend Laurel- Manette... a lot of fun!
Then, my family came and celebrated the rest with me that night. It was so much fun!

My Grandpa Pepa made me a bookshelf that I really wanted... I love it! It sooo sweet of him to make it for me!!
Laurel bought me a huge picture of Starry Night by Van Gogh. I love Van Gogh's paintings they're beautiful!
Thanks Laurel! ;)

This is the quilt my Mom and Dad bought me! It's gorgeous! I adore quilts! I actually found it in Nag's Head when we went there with the Wallis' recently and I really wanted it. It's not finished on the back so Katie and Michael gave me money to do that. :)
Here's the guys that came. Thanks Mikey and Aaron! We all enjoyed ya'll! Mike you need to come hangout more

Buddy :)

Hahaha... this cracks me up! He's a complete boy isn't he?! He took every marker and made them each a stub. Only boys would do that! I love it when little boys are naughty.
Also, he always asks for my phone, so I turned it off and gave it to him. Somehow he's figured out how to turn it on and call people. Last night I kept hearing, "Hello Hello, Gracie?"
He had called my mom. He just walked up to me and said, "look miss Gwace! Phone!" I could only giggle and appreciate how cute he is!

He looks so mischievous! That little booger. ;)

Little Miss Adah and Buddy

Noah and Adah are one of my favorite kids to babysit! I love them SOOO much!!! They're so precious!! I hope I have kids just like them. Especially little Noah my buddy.

This is little Adah. What a doll!! She's so sweet and has such a cute smile!

Noah my bud. I brought over some markers and a coloring book and we sat there and made airplanes, then played hide and seek. He's such a goof and LOVES to see himself in the camera. Hahaha... sounds familiar :)

Little miss Adah... she had a hard time going to bed and cried for a long time. I sat and rocked her downstairs as soon as I put Noah to bed, but he followed us down there. He said to me, "miss Gwace I wock too?!" And I absolutely couldn't resist! So all three of us rocked together :)

I took this when I told Noah he had to go to bed. When I looked into his eyes I felt so bad. He obeyed well, but I hated having to put him to bed cuz I wanted him to stay up with me.

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
