Winnie and Jo...and... some pics from Disney

I had so much fun getting to see my family and hang for the week. I stayed with my Mema, Aunt Terri- Ann and her daughter Emily. The first few nights we spent with my Great Aunt Mimi, then Great Aunt Flo, Then with more cousins... and finally we ended up in a cozy hotel! Exuasting at times, but tons of fun.

Breakfast with Cinderella and the other princesses was a blast... the little ones squealed with delight while My cousin Leah and I sat back and made jokes at the pincesses... :)

We had a fun filled week with many many stories to tell!

Disney World!

This coming Wednesday I'm off to Florida to see my great aunts and Disney World with my grandma and cousins!!
I'm so excited! I haven't been since I was 5. When I first went I got to have breakfast with Chip and Dale, Goofy, and Daisy and Donald Duck. This time... we get to have breakfast with Cinderella... in the castle!! I've never been in the castle before... Cinderella is more for the younger ones, but I'm sure I'm gonna be just as excited as them! ;)
I haven't been on vacation in a long time and I'm glad I can get away from everything and relax... Since about May I've wanted to just go somewhere and my Mema kindly invited me to join them. Thank You Mema! I love you!

John "Deer"

Well... today was a sad day... Mom disposed of our sweet little chihuahua Elsie... or so it seems like that. She actually sent her to a very sweet family where she will get lots of attention.

Everyone sad, Mom added a new animal to the family... to Jimmy's surprise he found this "lovely" old deer head hanging right above where he sleeps. We're not sure how long this pet will last either. Ha!

P.S.
Mom wanted me to let you know that we are not hicks... no where close. We're still not sure why she bought it though. :)

Winnie & Jo's Sewing projects

Winnie (Rachel B.) stayed over last night and in desperation to find something to do we decided to learn how to sew... I already kinda knew, but we'd never done pillows before...and now we know!!!

I had a bag full of clothes to give away so instead of giving them away we ripped them up and made quilted pillows with them. These were some of the clothes.

Making quilted pillows is our new fav thing right now, so for any birthdays coming up... you know what you're getting! :)

We had spasms of random laughter since it was like 1:30 in the morning... too late for us

I did most of the actual sewing part

Winnie sat there and cut...and cut... and cut.

Our finished products... not stuffed yet though!

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
